Book Review: The Weight of Heaven

One of the challenges of being a book reviewer is not liking a book. Deep down I think, “Who cares what Jill thinks? She’s only one person and she’s not God.”

This book is dark!  A tragedy.  I challenged myself to find one sliver of light….and I couldn’t find it. I need light in my books, but that being said you might not.

The book is about Ellie and Frank, a couple who relocate to India to help themselves heal from losing their only child, Benny. Stuff happens…bad stuff.  If you like well-written dark tragedies with beautifully drawn characters, set in India……where bad stuff happens……read this book.

Jill Graves is a Silver & Grace Book Reviewer. Jilly-Bean is Eliza’s go to gal when she needs reassurance that men, children, bosses, co-workers, and pets are all insane; whereas, Eliza is clearly not. Every woman needs a friend like that.
