Importance of Intuition: Ludwina Dautovic

Welcome to the second post in my interview series The Importance of Intuition. In my first one, I interviewed someone locally, Devinder Kaur, whom I met at the Ottawa Women Wisdom Wellness event. But, it is fascinating how the internet has opened up a whole new way to meet people. Today, we are going to pop all the way over to Australia!

I met Ludwina Dautovic through my article Moving Beyond the Breaking Point on Mark Bowness’ awesome site, Life Change Instigator. I promptly popped over to Ludwina’s site and immediately left this comment:

I have to say your energy absolutely radiates off my computer screen. You go, girl!

Then I read about  her journey through cancer and knew that intuition had to be a part of this journey. Wow, little did I know just how important intuition was! But, I will let Ludwina tell you about that.

Here is what Ludwina has to say about the importance of intuition in her life.

1. On a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high) what is the importance of intuition in your personal life? 10

2. On a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high) what is the importance of intuition in your work life? 10

3. What role does intuition play in your personal and/or work life?

Intuition plays a massive role in both my personal and work life. It’s like a beacon to me. In fact it was my intuition that saved my life. In June 2010 I was in hospital after two days of lower back pain. After having an entire day of tests with no results they were about to send me home. I could barely stand and I couldn’t lay or sit. I know something was horribly wrong. I insisted they do more tests. They found a 14cm tumor on my left kidney. The pain subsided the next day and if I hadn’t found out that day I may not be alive today. All I lost was my kidney and not my life. In terms of intuition and my business? Well, I’ve just done a complete 180 in that area because my gut was telling me that it was time I served myself. I have been serving other women in business for so long and it’s now time for me. Life is too damn short.. live it. That’s my motto now and I will be embracing everything that comes my way.

One other facet where intuition is a driver for me is when I feel fear. If I experience fear it’s a sign for me to push through it and not run away from it.
